The Employer Brand leader of the Year 2019 awards were launched today by World Employer Branding Day founder, Brett Minchington.

The 2019 winners will be announced at the International Employer Branding Summit on 16 May 2019 as part of World Employer Branding Day 15-17 May 2019 | Lisbon.

“The role of the employer brand leader now sits at the executive level in many organizations around the world as the management field becomes increasingly recognized as a transformational way to manage the attract, engagement and retention of talent. Now in it's third year, the Employer Brand Leader of the Year Awards acknowledge the leaders at the forefront of this change and will inspire more leaders to strategize employer branding as a critical business function and not one merely related to talent acquisition, an approach most common in companies lagging behind in adapting to the social and technological change impacting on the world of work, Minchington said.

KANTAR TNS and the Employer Branding College will support the awards in 2019, two global organizations focused on the advancement of employer brand leadership practice around the world.

Camilla Björk, Senior Research Executive at KANTAR TNS said, ‘We are excited to continue our support of the Global Award to recognize the achievements of senior leaders who are driving best practice and inspiring a new generation of leaders to think differently and find new ways to attract and retain talent."

The 2018 KANTAR TNS Employer Brand Leader of the Year (GLOBAL LEADER > 3 years’ experience) was awarded to New Zealander, Leslie Taylor who is responsible for leading the employer brand strategy at The Warehouse Group.

The 2018 HainesAttract Employer Brand Leader of the Year (EMERGING LEADER < 3 years’ experience) was awarded to Johan Driessens, a soaring star employer brand leader who is the C.E.O. (Chief Enthusiasm Officer) / Founder at Belgium's leading agency, Branded.Careers, the company who makes you smile on Monday mornings (and every other day of the week :).
