World Employer Branding Day founder, Brett Minchington, announced global professional services company, Accenture will continue as Global Community Partner for the annual event being held in Lisbon from 15-17 May in 2019.
Many of the world's top employer brand agencies and companies will share best practice case studies and insights with more than 700 leaders from 45 countries expected at World Employer Branding Day 2019. Since the event launch in 2016, leaders have been inspired by learning and networking with many of the world’s top employer brands including Google, Salesforce, adidas, Facebook, Volvo Cars, Heineken and SAP who have presented at the event.
The 2018 event in Prague sold out two months in advance and the demand is expected to continue to rise in 2019 with the growing senior leadership interest in employer branding around the world and the multiple challenges facing companies to attract and retain talent required for growth and innovation.
“We’re extremely excited Accenture will continue as Global Community Partner in 2019. They are a global company that is passionate about the role employer branding plays in building better workplaces. They also put this passion into action with members of their European Employer Brand Team gaining their Certificate in Employer Brand Leadership qualification from Employer Branding College prior to the 2018 event,” Minchington said.
Emma Tolhurst, Europe Employer Brand Director at Accenture said, "We're delighted to continue our partnership with World Employer Branding Day. This important International event on employer branding brings together leaders from a diverse range of organisations around the world to innovate, discuss and explore solutions in building better and more inclusive workplaces for the future to improve the way the world works and lives.”
Minchington added, “The era of relying on the strength of your corporate or consumer brand for your corporate success is over, employer branding connects the role of HR, marketing, communications, IT and legal functions to deliver enhanced customer experiences. Employer Branding doesn’t have to involve companies investing in a new department or spending excessively. It requires innovative thinking to support and inspire the people behind these customer experiences.
