Top Employers Institute to showcase global excellence in employee experience

World Employer Branding Day founder, Brett Minchington, has announced Top Employers Institute as an International Platinum Partner for the annual event, celebrating its 5th edition in Lisbon from 13-15 May in 2020.

Since they were founded in 1991, hundreds of organisations have joined Top Employers Institute, creating a community of more than 1,500 Top Employers across 118 countries/regions today. Together, they are positively impacting the lives of over 6,000,000 people.

Mr Minchington said, “Following on from their standout presentation with DHL Express at the 2019 event, we’re thrilled Top Employers Institute will return to the main stage along with one of their Top Employers in 2020 to share insights on what makes a world class employer brand.”

“It was also great to see a large number of Top Employers present as part of a delegation of 785 leaders from 48 countries. This strongly aligns with a key objective of the event to advance an industry through the power of industry collaboration by bringing together the world’s best employer brands and the Partners they collaborate with,” Minchington added.

Top Employers Institute is dedicated to helping organisations with world-class employee conditions become recognised for the great employers they are, which in turn helps them advance.

David Plink, CEO at Top Employers Institute said, “We are excited to return to the stage for World Employer Branding Day in 2020. Last year’s event was truly inspirational and we at Top Employers Institute are looking forward to presenting again this year together with one of the world’s largest organisations, who is striving for a better world of work.’

Many of the world's top employer brand agencies and companies will share best practice case studies and insights with more than 750 leaders from 45 countries expected at World Employer Branding Day 2020. Since the event launch in 2016, leaders have been inspired by learning and networking with many of the world’s top employer brands including Google, Salesforce, AWS, adidas, Facebook, Volvo, Heineken and SAP who have presented at the event.

Mr Plink added, “‘We are a global certifier of people practices. Through our Certification Programme, companies are validated, certified and recognized as an employer of choice. Once certified, Top Employers can promote their brand through the Certification Seal, use their post-certification feedback insights to benchmark practices and align policies. They also join a community of HR professionals dedicated to enriching the world of work.
