Brett Minchington, Founder of World Employer Branding Day, has announced the launch of the 2022 Employer Brand Leader of the Year Awards to be presented at World Employer Branding Day 2022 which returns to an in-person event in Lisbon from 12-14 October.
"It's been more than two years since the onset of the pandemic and employer brand leaders around the world have played an instrumental role in supporting their people in navigating their way through the chaos and disruptions of the pandemic. More recently we have witnessed the heroic efforts of employer brand leaders to support their people as a result of the war in Ukraine—the aim of the 2022 awards is to recognise and acknowledge the work of these employer brand leaders," Minchington said.
The awards were last held in 2020 and the previous winners, Jennifer O'Brien (Global Leader), Director, Global Talent Attraction & Experience Director at Booz Allen Hamilton and Tanya Cortegaca (Emerging Leader), Head of Global Employer Branding at Thales demonstrated the outstanding calibre of employer brand leadership that exists in industry. These leaders have continued to set new standards since winning their awards in 2020.
