The Employer Brand Leaders of the Year for 2024 were announced at a ceremony in Amsterdam on 10 October at World Employer Branding Day 2024, a global industry gathering of more than 800 leaders from 50+ countries.
The Global Leader award was awarded to Jake Bustos who is the Director, Employer Brand & Early Careers - Europe Operating Unit at The Coca-Cola Company.
“This year’s winner of the Kantar Global Employer Brand Leader of the Year Award is renowned for his innovative employer branding strategies. With roles spanning Europe, Asia, and the Middle East, he transformed Coca-Cola BIG's employer brand, leading to its Great Place to Work certification in 10 countries. Known for his ability to connect with Gen Z, Jake redefined early talent programs, attracting thousands of applications. His contributions have earned him numerous awards, including People Leader of the Year and Global Power Leader in HR. , said Katarina Onell, from KANTAR, in presenting the award.

The Emerging Leader award was won by Renata Karpenko who is the Chief People and Operations Officer at Energame. Iryna Ryslyayeva from Energame was in attendance and accepted the award of behalf of Renata.

There were more than 40 entrants to this years awards and the calibre of nominees was the highest it has been in the history of the awards. The field of employer brand leadership opens up a world of opportunity for leaders to cross over to the function that is now widely recognised as a role that supports the strategic talent attraction and retention objectives of the company, Minchington says.
